I was approached by Christopher Everett, a former GP and the brains behind PregDisk, to create a sales animation to be used at a fertility show in London. The animation was created to show how Pregdisk works and to act as a point of sale tool. We had the idea to keep it simple, and open the animation with a pack shot, revealing the contents, and then the mode of action.
Comissioned by BBC WebWise and produced by Red Nomad, this interactive online project aims to teach computer literacy to it viewers. The project has been nominated for two British Interactive Media Awards.
The project is a mixture of the latest Flash coding, video production, post production and video streaming technology.
My involvement in the project was green screen keying/subtraction and generating some special effects, and currently ongoing development in the latest compression techniques to stream the video over the web most effectively.
Look out on BBC WebWise in the next few months for the finished project!
Neil at NASC and Jan at Custom Films www.customfilms.co.uk commissioned this opening sequence for their news report. Thanks for the comments!
“Pixelblock Media provided a superb opening and closing animation sequence for our news reels. Highly professional, Pixelblock delivered outstanding service and interpreted our requirements exactly. I would have no hesitation in recommending them (and in fact have already done so)”

The animation has been used as a web banner, and to enhance their Youtube campaign.

Tympani Productions commissioned us to produce a short animated title sequence to introduce a prospectus video for The Westgate School.
The animation is a mixed composition of live images and 3D animation, which demonstrates the seamless integration of the two.
